Josef Goebbels recognized Adolf Hitler as a charismatic public speaker. Josef Goebbels recognized the historic reasons for anti-Semitism: divert public anger from the ruling elite and enrich the ruling elite with stolen Jewish property. Paul Josef Goebbels converted National Socialism from a fascist beer drinking discussion group to a fascist, urban guerrilla party pandering to anti-Semitism.
Field Marshal Paul von Hindenburg aided Vladimir Ilyich Lenin in his quest against the armies of Tsarist Russia and witnessed the unplanned destruction of the Russian monarchy. As President, Paul von Hindenburg was convinced that Communism was a greater threat to Germany than Adolf Hitler and the Nazis.
Germany’s Problems Effectively Exploited by Minority Nazi Party
The Nazi Party formed a coalition with the Catholic Center Party to make Hermann Goring, Reichstag (parliament) President on August 30, 1932. Josef Goebbels and his Nazi Deputies shouted down all opposition with obscenities, insults and slander. To exploit undirected public anger Adolf Hitler staged rallies calling for violence against Nazi political opposition as Brown Shirts organized street battles.
Failed chancellor Franz von Papen schemed with Adolf Hitler to blackmail the only son of President Hindenburg; Major Oskar von Hindenburg, by threatening prosecution for missing provincial estate taxes. To avoid prosecution Oskar von Hindenburg agreed to convince his father to replace Kurt von Schleicher with Adolf Hitler as Chancellor of Germany. Adolf Hitler became Chancellor on January 30, 1933.
The Deliberate Destruction of Democracy in Germany
When the threat to democracy became apparent, parliament scheduled a vote for February 28 to limit Hitler’s power. On the night of February 27 Hermann Goring firebombed the Reichstag Building. The feeble minded Dutch Communist Marinus van der Lubbe was duped into claiming responsibility. Between his naps, 85 year old President Hindenburg signed the “Emergency Decree for the Protection of the people and the State” enabling a wave of terror and murder that converted the Nazis from one of 14 minority parties to the majority party.
Hitler Uses Jewish Lawyers as Public Lessons in Applied Terror
On March 13, 1933: The Nazi controlled Reichstag suspended the German Constitution and declared Hitler “temporary dictator” of Germany. Hitler immediately fired all Jewish judges and disbarred all Jewish lawyers impeding any legal challenges to his power. On March 23, 1933 The “Enabling Act” made HitlerFuhrer (dictator) of Germany. Secrete national security “Peoples Courts” and “Special Courts” for "political crimes" were created.
Gleichschaltung “Social Synchronization” to Purify Germany
- April 1, 1933: As the first of many acts of “Social Synchronization” the Nazi party organized a nationwide boycott of Jewish businesses. Jewish owned factories, workshops and stores were labeled Jude; paramilitary Brown Shirts were stationed and instructed Germans to report each other for “buying Jew.” The boycott failed and was cancelled April 2nd. The “Jew Star Labels,” swastikas and racist graffiti remained as dehumanizing identifiers.
- April 7, 1933: To provide jobs for Nazi party members and isolate the German people from social interaction with the Jewish people the “Law for the Restoration of a Professional Civil Service,” banned Jews from all government employment.
- April 21, 1933 kosher food preparation was banned in Germany; kosher butcher shops were seized and redistributed to Nazi party members.
Methodology to Train the German People for Genocide
The Third Reich used the methodology of sanctioned, randomly brutal, violent crimes against Jews and sponsored pogroms to desensitize and train the population for genocide, performing Gleichschaltung the same way other governments prepare for floods.
In Frankfurt and Vienna Jews were dragged to amusement parks for “Jewish Public Pleasure Hours" where: Jews were beaten; Jews were forced to eat manure; Jews were forced to run in circles at gunpoint until they had heart attacks and Jews were forced to ride roller coasters at full speed until they vomited, passed out and become incontinent.
- May 1, 1933: As a warning to all writers and artists and to separate the German people from any beneficial Jewish influence; bonfires were made of “Jewish” books. “Jewish” art, music, plays and performers were banned.
- June 9, 1933: To remove Jews from public view and deny them a gathering place the Berlin Neue Synagoge, dedicated in 1866, was fire bombed.
- June 10, 1933: Josef Goebbels delivered a secret speech to Berlin Police commanders: “Jews must be forced to leave Berlin. The police are to work hand-in-hand with the party in this.”
- July 14, 1933: Law for the Protection of Heredity Health established creation science based legal anti-Semitism. Jews were arrested for “living among Aryans,” convicted in secret court of “Race Pollution” and sentenced to concentration camps. Their homes and personal property were redistributed to “True Germans.”
Nazis Plan to make Germany Judenfrei with the Nuremberg Laws
September 15, 1935: Two laws to further “Aryanization” by making “Greater Germany” “Jew Free” were unanimously passed in parliament:
- “Law for the Protection of German Blood and German Honor.” “Jew” became an official designation for sub-human non-German. Marriage and sex between “Jews” and “Germans and related bloods” was prohibited.
- “Reich Citizenship Law.” “Jews” were stripped of citizenship, forbidden to display the German flag and denied German passports.
Any lingering guilt or moral conflicts were assuaged with Jewish assets transferred at bayonet point, and, Jewish business sold at gun point as rewards for loyal displays of anti-Semitic brutality; all the while consigning the Jewish victims to poverty.
